Fishing Master Islands: All 6 Unlock Costs (40K to 15M Coins)

Last checked: October 3, 2026. Costs come from two walkthrough videos by different Vietnamese creators, Bùm Roblox (September 25) and Thay Tam Gaming (September 30). Where both give the same number the row says so. We have not unlocked the islands ourselves.

How do you unlock an island?

Each island has an NPC near the arrival point. You sail there, talk to him and pay. Three rules apply (Reported):

• Order is fixed. Jungle before Desert, Desert before Snow, and so on. You cannot skip.
• One quest at a time. From Snow Island on, the unlock is a quest. If you are already holding another quest, the NPC refuses until you cancel it.
• You can prepare in advance. One creator caught the fish and saved the Coins first, then sailed over and unlocked Snow Island on arrival.

The quest panel (key 3 on PC) shows the next island’s requirement before you leave.

Which fish should you keep?

This is where players lose hours. From Desert Island onward, the next gate wants fish from the island you are standing on.

• On Desert Island: lock every Legendary fish. Snow Island needs three. If you also want the White Tiger race, that quest takes three more of at least 1,000 kg each.
• On Snow Island: the Volcanic gate asks for three named species: Frozen Crown Dragonfish, Frosttusk Seal and Frostmaw Monster. Keep one of each.
• On Volcanic Island: the Fossil gate names a fish for each weight: Ancient Trihorn Fish at 1,200 kg, Stormblade Shark at 2,000 kg and Lavascale Dragonfish at 2,500 kg. Thay Tam Gaming’s warning is specific: do not hand heavy Legendary fish to the Azure Dragon race quest, which accepts any weight. Save the heavy ones for the gate.

A fish is locked with the key icon in your satchel, which stops you selling it by accident.

The community wiki confirms that the Rod Merchant only exists on the first four islands, and that later rods come from quests (Reported).

Every island also has two boss fish spawn points.

How do you travel between islands?

By boat at first. The Boat Merchant sells vehicles and lets you set your respawn point on the current island (Reported, community wiki). Island names only appear on screen once you have sailed a short way from the dock.

A game pass adds a teleport: each island has a portal, and with the pass you can jump to any island you have already unlocked (Reported).

What we do not know yet

• Whether the costs are still current. The quest texts we read are from videos dated September 25, and the game was updated on October 2.
• Whether the unlock prices are the same on every server region. The island names themselves are settled: the in-game Index and Fast Travel panel both list Starter, Jungle, Desert, Snow, Volcanic and Fossil Island.
