Azure Dragon Race (Fishing Master): Quest, Location and Buffs

How do you get the Azure Dragon race?

1. Unlock Volcanic Island.
2. Own One Hook Supreme. It is a Legendary skill from the Skill Master, so this step is down to your rolls.
3. Climb to the top of the volcano and accept the quest.
4. Land the finishing blow on 100 fish with One Hook Supreme equipped and used as the finisher.
5. Catch three Legendary fish on this island. Weight does not matter.
6. Return to the NPC.

In game the race is called the Azure Dragon Soul. The NPC puts the quest this way: “Unlock Island 5, deliver the final blow to 100 fish with One Hook Supreme, and bring 3 Legendary fish caught at Island 5.”

What do you get?

Luck is the reason creators chase it. Bùm Roblox lists the race among the main sources of luck when hunting Mythical fish, and Thành Tấn reads the panel as 10 luck and 5% Coins.

The third buff is a damage bonus to one school of skills. The NPC’s “View Soul buffs” screen settles the number: +10% Extra Skill Damage for Eighteen Fish Slaying Hook Arts, +10 Luck, +5% Fish Value. Thành Tấn’s spoken 5% was the fish value. Eighteen Fish Slaying Hook Arts is the school One Hook Supreme belongs to.

Which fish should you hand in?

Not the heavy ones. This is Thay Tam Gaming’s main warning for the island. The gate to Fossil Island needs three Volcanic Island fish of at least 1,200 kg, 2,000 kg and 2,500 kg. The race quest takes any Legendary regardless of weight. If you give it your 2,000 kg catch, you may fish for a long time before you see another.

His order: unlock Fossil Island first with the heavy fish, then come back and do this quest with whatever Legendary fish you catch afterwards.

Can you switch races later?

Yes, as shown by Bùm Roblox: go back to the NPC of a race you have already earned and press equip. He swaps between two races on camera. Finishing this quest does not lock you out of your old one.

What we do not know yet

• Whether the 100 finishes must happen on Volcanic Island or count anywhere.
• The buffs of the island-four race and everything about the island-six race. The island-four NPC is the Phoenix Guardian, who offers the Phoenix Soul for one unequipped copy each of One Hook Supreme, Taiji Hooking Art and Shatter The Azure Heavens plus three Legendary fish from Snow Island.
