Fishing Master Boss Fish: 12 Spawn Locations on 6 Islands

Where boss fish spawn in Fishing Master on Roblox: two spots on each of the six islands, when they appear, and the Gems creators received. Checked Oct 3, 2026.

Last checked: October 3, 2026. The weather timing is Official. The spawn points come from two creators who each walked to all twelve on camera: Thay Tam Roblox (September 28) and Bùm Roblox (September 30) (Reported, described in words, not coordinates).

Where do boss fish spawn?

Island Spot 1 Spot 2
1 Starter The area on the right side of the island At the front, left of the dock
2 Jungle Right of the dock Behind the island
3 Desert The rocky edge on the right side Left of the dock
4 Snow On the side of the island The corner at the boat dock
5 Volcanic The boat dock The small dock at the back
6 Fossil The boat dock The dock behind the island

The table follows Thay Tam Roblox. Bùm Roblox gives a simpler rule that fits it: on every island one spot is across from the boat seller, and the other is at the end of a path, usually at the back of the island. If you arrive during weather and do not know the island, start at the dock.

When does a boss appear?

With weather. The official description says weather spawns on the map every 30 minutes and despawns after 10. Creators add three details (Reported):

  • The boss shows up on one island at random, not on a fixed one. You have to check them.
  • The game announces it.
  • When the weather ends, the boss is gone. Thay Tam Roblox loses two bosses on camera because the 10 minutes ran out.

Is there a fixed schedule?

Bùm Roblox says yes (Reported, single source): a boss appears every 40 minutes, at 20 past on even hours and at 00 and 40 past on odd hours. He does not say which time zone his clock is in. He is a Vietnamese creator, and Vietnam is seven hours ahead of UTC, so “even” and “odd” may be swapped on your clock.

The 40 minutes does not contradict the official 30. If the 30 minutes run from the end of one weather to the start of the next, and each weather lasts 10, the cycle is 40. That reading is ours and is not confirmed. The safe way to use it: note the minute one boss is announced, then count forward 40.

That makes travel speed the real constraint: six islands, twelve spots, ten minutes. Thay Tam Roblox uses a vehicle that he says costs 50,000 Coins. The teleport game pass would do the same job.

How do you catch one?

A boss fight in Fishing Master on Starter Island in the rain, health bar reading 690,256 of 730,000

A Dragon Koi fight off Starter Island during rain. The bar at the top reads 690,256 / 730,000.

The same way as any fish: cast at the spawn point, click, answer the prompts, finish with a skill. Two things differ.

  • Regular fish bite too. You may reel in several normal catches before the boss takes the hook. He clears them fast with one quick skill.
  • Bosses heal. The stronger ones restore health during the fight, so slow damage can stall. His answer is to fire every skill he has.

Boss health in his session ranged widely: some died in one hit, one had 11,000,000 health, one 38,000,000 and the last 71,000,000.

Some bosses have two health bars. WeizGaming met one on Desert Island on his first day: the first bar was 2,800,000, and when it emptied a second bar of 11,000,000 replaced it. He lost with a starter rod and one skill. That 11,000,000 matches the figure above, so it is probably the same boss.

What do bosses give?

Gems, the currency for aura rolls. Rewards in the same session: 30, 50, 100, 200 and 500 Gems, the largest from the 71,000,000 health boss. He says that catch also gave him a Mythical skill (single source). A boss also fills an entry in your Index.

One boss he caught weighed 2,600 kg and sold for about 1,000,000 Coins, which he calls cheap for the effort. The Gems are the point.

Which bosses are there?

The in-game Index has a Bosses tab with five slots. We read four names off Thay Tam Roblox’s screen in his September 28 video, where the tab shows “BOSSES 04/05”, and the rest off the satchel of Dưa Hấu Gaming, who had fourteen boss catches in it on September 29 (Reported, read from gameplay footage):

# Boss What the footage shows
1 Dragon Koi A gold dragon-headed koi. Creators treat it as the weak one; several say it dies in a hit or two. One fight on Starter Island shows 730,000 health
2 HaLaNgu Awakened A green sea dragon. Rarity shown as Divine. His catch weighed 2,650.43 kg and paid 200 Gems; its health bar read 38,090,000
3 HaLaNgu True Form A red sea dragon
4 Kun Version 1 A grey shark-like fish
5 Kun Version 2 A dark shark-like fish. Thay Tam Roblox had not caught it and says it appears only in what he calls cosmic weather

Every boss in that satchel carries the rarity Divine, above the ones regular fish have in the sources we have seen.

Which weather brings which boss?

Only partly known. These are remarks creators made while playing, each from one person:

Weather, as the creator names it Boss seen Who
Rainbow rain Dragon Koi, twice in a row Takami_Cat
Blood moon Small fish only; the boss never showed before time ran out Thay Tam Roblox
“Dragon boat” weather with lightning HaLaNgu Awakened, 38,000,000 health Thay Tam Roblox
“Cosmic” weather Kun Version 2, by his account Thay Tam Roblox

The weather names are translated from Vietnamese speech, so the in-game English names may differ. Different bosses also turn up on the same island across sessions.

What we do not know yet

  • Health and reward for each boss by name. The figures above are tied to a name only for Dragon Koi and HaLaNgu Awakened.
  • The in-game English names of the weather types, and a complete weather-to-boss list.
  • Which time zone the 40-minute schedule is counted in.
  • Whether a spawn point is tied to a particular boss.
  • Exact positions. The table is a spoken description.

Where to go next

Bosses on later islands hit harder, so gear first: the Zen Staff Rod and Dread Fish Rod are the two strongest known. To reach all twelve spots you need all six islands; costs are in the islands table. And the Gems go further with a plan: see what the skills list says about pity counts.
